My fuel gauge only works until 3/4 of a tank and then falls

My fuel gauge only works until 3/4 of a tank and then falls to E. When this started, the turn signals also started malfunctioning. (They work when they want to, including the hazard lights). What could be causing this, and how do I fix it?
