my 1992 honda accord lx temperature gauge is fluctuating. what is the mostly likely cause?

Check your coolant level in the radiator. Also make sure the resovoir has the correct amount of coolant in it as well. Also, if it has been a while have the coolant system serviced nso that if any air is caught in the system it can be bled out properly and new coolant is used to refill it.

i think i may need to service my coolant system. the coolant is very dirty. thank you, that helped.
