Question

i changed the starter in a silverado manual tranny but

I changed the starter in a 94 Silverado manual tranny, but had to move the a transmission plunger type thing,Not sure what you call it. It is directly below the starter. Now the clutch pedal is very hard to press in and the clutch doesnt engage like its supposed to.

The item you removed is the slave cylinder. This is the part that pushes the arm to disengage the clutch. It is possible that the clutch arm may have become dislodged or even the plunger may be pushing against the case. Remove the slave cylinder again and make sure everything looks ok and that the arm is not dislodged.

If the arm is dislodged do i need a new one or can i just reisert it?
