1987 i mark today it happened three times seesm to happen when i slow dow or completely stop

Quite possibly this is an idle air control valve issue.The first thing to do is scrub the throttle body and plate clean with an old tooth brush and carb cleaner.If the problem persists after that replace the idle air control valve.
