Engine Misfire...96 Olds 88 3.8L V6 has error code stating cylinder 4 misfire...recently purchased from retired couple and not driven much lately. #4 plug and wire replaced...same problem.

It can be a different ignition wire causing that code. You really should never change just one wire. You should change them as a set. You could also have a problem with a coil or a fuel injecter although it's very difficult to confirm an injecter problem without a gas analyler. Having the injecters pressure cleaned would be good maintanance anyway.
