1992 Taurus wagon loud road hum. Whether engine hot or clod, Wheel rotation related noise all speeds...loudest 30 to 45 MPH..feel the noise vibration (strong hum...not a squeal) through driver side floor...present with old or new well-balanced tires. Present in straight driving. Tends to decrease and almost disappear if I make a quick left turn. Sound increases in a gradual right turn (because of speed limits, only noticed at 35 mph). Sound Not present if at stop and revving engine.

You might have more than one problem, according with what are you describing. The strong hum could come from the bearings. When the sound increase when you take a gradual right, that noise is coming from the axel.So you have to check if the cv boot (of the axel) is broken, because that what is happening ...the cv joint colect dirt, and there is no grease, and in the moment when you take a turn the joints come in to a friction and creat the noise you are hearing.Definetly the hum noise is coming from the bearings.
