Question

My 1997 sebring convertible has a problem when it rains.

My 1997 sebring convertible has a problem when it rains. Water accumilates and swishes around somewhere under the car. I can hear it spashing while driving.

You have to check your body plugs, all vehicles have body plugs, theses are holes in the frames and trunks and doors etc. all at the lowest points to drain water that may accumulate when it rains, you may have one or more of these holes plugged. Look for rubber gromets in th bottom of the trunk, open and move your door back and forth to find where the water is trapped, rock the car and listen. check under the door along the frame there should be small slots for drainage.
