1994 SEVILLE WITH 2226612 MILEAGE, RECENTLY HAD GASKETS NEAR INTAKE MANIFOLD, WATER PUMP AND NEW THERMASTAT. HAVE PUT A GALLON OF PRESTONE 50 /50 ANTIFREEZE, BUT ONLY DRIVEN APPROX. 200 MILES/CITY. DETECT NO OBVIOUS LEAKS, ENGINE RUNS SMOOTH, TEMPERATURE HIGHWAY 196 DEGREES / 210-217 CITY IS THIS NORMAL, SHOULD I USE BETTER QUALITY ANTIFREEZE IF SO WHICH. WAS SUGGGESTED THAT WITH MILEAGE THAT 20/ 50 OIL ALSO BE USED IN NORTHSTAR ENGINE.

Those temperatures are not that high. You however should run Dex-cool in your motor. It is a pink/orange looking coolant, however make sure you wash out the preston, pour some water through prior to chaning it. You don't want to mix the dex coool with the 50/50.
