Am replacing passenger outside door handle on 1998
Sent to Car Experts January 05 02:55 PM

I have removed the inside door panel as I attempt to replace a passenger outside door handle on 1998 Mitzubishi Eclipse. With the window hand cranked to the full up position, a small piece of glass where it is bolted to the track still obstructs getting to the inside bolt. How do I gain access to remove this bolt?

Optional Information:
1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cylinder

Already Tried:
tried to get wrench to bolt, but not enough room to turn it.

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy)!

I don't have a picture of inside the door. However, I would suggest unbolting the glass from the regulator and moving it all the way to the bottom of the door or lifting it up further now that the regulator is not holding it in place.

Please perform all of the diagnostics I suggest.
