I have a Pontiac Bonneville (92) 3.8 .we have done alot of troubleshooting on this car , i am at my witts in!!!!!!!ready to junk it)my problem is shes running rough now, after changing harmonic balancer sensor, she quits when gas is pushed(backfiring through intake manifold) funny noise in front before quits. please help!!!! Julie

Already Tried:
changed plugs, throtle sensor,harmonic balancer sensor.seems like she is not getting proper gas pressure.

The cranksensor reads off the harmonic balancer .If this started after replacing the balancer and you have a noise uo there,I would start by double checking the sensor to balancer clearance-it is adjustable and there is a tool out for that.It centers the sensor and checks the vanes on the balancer.The other 2 problems beside fuel pressure and injectors that can eaisly be checked is the ignition module and computer.Also double check your ground at the stud under the module.Just what codes if any are you coming up with.

Code 22 is tps- you need to check your tps adjustment also- on yours it should be.5 volts closed throttle.
