i am trying to put the power window cable system back to ...

i am trying to put the power window cable system back to gether and keep coming up just short. any advice?car is a 2003 pontiac grand prix gtp.

If the cable came apart it does not go back together the regulator will have to be replaced.

  1. Remove the front door trim panel.
  2. Remove the front door water deflector.
  3. Raise the front door window far enough in order to gain access through the inner door panel to the window to regulator bolts (2).
  4. Remove the bolts from front door window to regulator.
  5. Raise the front door window to the full up position.
  6. Tape the front door window in the full up position.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  8. Remove the bolts from the front door window regulator and motor.
  9. Remove the front door window regulator from the front door.

ive got it out and got the replacement parts and am trying to put it back together
