I have 1997 Pontiac Grand am GT and I cant figure out

I have 1997 Pontiac Grand am GT and I cant figure out how to get the old fuel filter off. The one end takes a 13/16 and a 16mm on the fuel line but the other end has no clamps or clips to push in to release the filter. Any Ideas?

New Technology / I went through the same ordeal once. You have to buy a special tool which is designed to release the line from the filter. Any well known Auto Parts Store has this tool.

The tool I got was mde by "Lisle"
