96 Pontiac Transport Wheel Squeak

I have a 1996 Pontiac TransSport with ABS Brakes. I have an intermittent "Squeak" thats comes from the front wheels. (Possible rear also??) When I hear the squeak and apply light pressure to the brakes it goes away. Does this indicate work Pads/shoes or perhaps bearings?
