Question

Transsport Brakes or Bearings?

Sent to Car Experts May 08, 2006 10:10 a.m.

I have a 1996 Pontiac TransSport with ABS Brakes. I have an intermittent "Squeak" thats comes from the front wheels. (Possible rear also??) When I hear the squeak and apply light pressure to the brakes it goes away. Does this indicate work Pads/shoes or wheel bearings? As an additional bit of info, it doesn't seem to make the noise fiirst thing in the AM??

Optional Information:
1996 Pontiac Transsport 6 Cyl
