I have a Pontiac GranPrix with 3.8 liter V6. When I press the accelerator, the engines revs up (slightly to about 3000 RPM) up but seems to have no power. Then the engine may miss or sputter.   I suspected transmission but that does not seem to be the problem. Suggestions?
