My 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 3.1L will not turn over.

My 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 3.1L will not turn over. I replaced the battery, since the other one was apparently bad, and it STILL will not turn over. The alternator seems fine. Any suggestions?
