Question

sunfire air conditioning problem

Sent to Car Experts August 28, 2005 4:44 p.m.

I recently had the oil changed on my 1996 pontiac sunfire along with an engine flush and air filter change. The next day the air conditioning wouldn't work- could this be related to the work I had done? How can I tell?

REPLIED Check Mark

Not likely if it worked when you left the shop. Have it leak tested and if you find physical damage to something they could have done, then go back to them.

Thanks- I don't think it was working when I left the shop as I didn't really drive other than to get it home- it was only the next day when I was on a longer drive that I tried to use the AC.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

In that case, maybe he left a switch unplugged or something.
