1998 Plymouth Neon DOHC 95k miles, manual trans. fuel pump was just replaced crankshaft sensor replaced. fuel pressure OK. coil checks OK. Car stalls at times first restarted after 3mins now getting very hard to restart! fuel pressure OK, no spark !ASD relay drops out!

Test the coils and the fuel injectors, in the Actuator Test Mode using a compatible scan tool. If they will operate in that mode they are OK and it is an input problem to the Powertrain Control Module. Test the output from the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Camshaft Position Sensor using a lab scope. Be sure to verify the signals are normal and that they are in time with each other. If the signals are out of time with each other, then check the timing belt and the camshaft roll pin for twisting, causing the cam timing to be incorrect

Reply to DIAGMAN's Post: Sorru for the delay worked late yestyerday picked up a camshaft sensor and installed it then ran it 25miles seems ok did not quit but put a OBDII code 43 which during the time it would quit never placed a code? has new plugs filter etc, What do you think about having a PCM processor problem? will run over the weekend. Changed Camshaft position sensor car runs great now keep getting code 043 key on off or p0300 with scan tool says Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire ? Has new plugs Bosch Platinum +4,new crankshaft position sensor. Any ideas? Thank you. Tom
