ACCEPTED Check Mark

You may want to check for sparks too, if the spark plug is firing. then you have issue on your fuel supply and that could be from fuel filter clogged, or the pump it self is at fault.

Now if the spark plug is not firing and you are certain that the fuel pump is not working, then the car have an issue on the crank shaft sensor which is located inside the timing belt cover, behind the pulley.

The car is turning over. We have checked to make sure that all of the spark plugs are tightened, but thats it. We cannot smell gas and we do not hear the winding inside the gas tank from the pump. So we think that it may be the pump. We are having the car towed home so it can be looked at better in the light.

Will the fuel pump still wind if the pump is clogged?

The car is on its way here. We have a print out of all the error codes. They are 12 (In diagnostic mode, 17, 52, 32, & 55 (ending diagnostic mode). The 17, 52 & 32 we do not know what they are. Does that help?

When trying to spray starter fluid into the carborator, (which wasn't taken apart) the car did start for a second or two. We are going to replace the fuel filter tomorrow. Does this tell you anything new or just the same either the fuel pump or filter?

This is the first time that I used this service. When do I have to close this and offer payment? Can it be overnight, just in case we still need your assistance?

We are going to try the fuel filter tomorrow & I'll be sure to let you know the outcome. Hopefully it is just a filter. I will be sending payment tomorrow afternoon. Thank you so much for all the help so far. I would send you some sort of payment for the time invested so far, if I knew that we were done & if we knew exactly what the problem is. I don't want to have to go through this again and get another person. Like I said before, I am not sure how all of this works. All I know is that I pay you. Thanks again! We'll talk tomorrow.
