I havbe a 1999 dodge pickup truck with a Cummins 5.9 liter diesel that has the 24 valves. While driving, the engine just stopped with no symptoms just prior to that event. The clutch had just been popped with some RPM when the stall out occured. Some of the items checked in the trouble shooting process: 1.fuel in the tank. 2. bleed the fuel filter. 3. cracked the hi pressure fuel lines for presence of fuel delivery (found no fuel) when engine was cranked. 4.checked the pump shaft key for any sheared sign or that the torque had been lost on the pump gear that would have caused a sheared key. 5.checked fuel pump relay.6. checked the 9way connector on the FPCM for corrosion, broken wires, pins in connector that might have pushed back or were broken.
A computer chip for power called Quadzilla has been installed. Two in-line slices were made to connect this chip, on to a wire coming out of the FPCM and another to a wire in a 6 pin connector that is part of the wiring to the cruse control.

The lift pump is operating. With multiple ignition key cycles the pump is delivering fuel to the filter.
I ran out of space on initial question. I feel it may be a electrical problem. Is there any way that I can use a FLUKE meter to check values across the pin connectors on the FPCM?
The Quadzilla chip and harness has a 1.5 ohm resistor in-line inside the cab that overheated and melted the convelute cover on the wire harness. I am guessing some thing was looking for a ground. Phareman

The chip is not grounded to any grounding stud. The two wires are spliced in-line into the wire harness and the FPCM.
I have not had a chance to identify wires spliced into(numbers). I have gotten some info on the 9way connector to do a pinout
No progress. phareman

I am having to get some of my answers from my son inlaw,as the truck is distant from my home.
The chip is picking up it's power from fuse 9 in the relay/fuse panel and the common or ground is hooked to the neg. battery post.phareman
