my 2002 cheve s10 pickup extended cab truck, starts up ...

my 2002 cheve s10 pickup extended cab truck, starts up fine, after driving for 25 min. the truck turn off as if it was over heating, but it is not over heating,cause the temp. gauge is at it's normal level. when i press down on the gas, it turns off. i wait about 30 second, then i turn it back on and it goes. about 5 min. later it shuts off again. i wait about another 30 second and it turns on and goes about another 5 min. i have changed the air and fuel filter and it does the same thing. In the morning it takes a few turns to start it up now. it use to take one turn. can you tell me what this sounds like to you?
