REPLIED Check Mark

Hi could you give me a little more information on this truck this is what i need to know

1. are you loosing any coolant

2. have you checked the fan clutch from what i see it would explain your frustration because you have replaced all the things that I, would have replaced but ive seen this cause a over heating problem before.

3. also have some one do a pressure test this way you can find a leak down that may point to a blown head gasket in thworst case these are the things I,would check if I, were you. I, hope this helps Thanks,

Al

When I pull over it is boiling steam and blowing out water when I try to release pressure on the cap. The fan clutch seems to be working properly. I will try the pressure test. This week it has been difficult to crank when engie is cold. I sprayed carb cleaner in it and after that it has stayed hot when cranking. The truck is now missing and overheated twice, idling rough, lurching when taking off. Higher speed sound ok but overheating soon thereafter. Does that sound related and help in anyway your diagnosis?

Hi this does help me alot this is what you can do at this point pull the spark plugs and see if you can tell what cylinder is wet or has antifreez in it if this is the case you are loking at doing a head gasket but if you dont get to pull the plugs the pressure test will tell on the head gasket. Thanks,

Al
