Can I replace the oil pan gasket on a 95 f150 4.9L ...

Can I replace the oil pan gasket on a 95 f150 4.9L 5speed by just dropping the bolts and leaving the pan on the front crossmember then working the new 1-piece gasket from under the oil pan instead of removing the pan from the truck ?

Optional Information:
1995 Ford F150 6cly 300in 4.9L

Already Tried:
nothing just research to see if you can replace without removing pan
