engine problems please help

i have a chevy s10 pickup with a 350 engine in it when the weather gets hot i have problems with it not getting gas to the fuel filter or the carb i have bought a new fuel pump and am still having the same promlems any suggestions on how to fix it i have benn putting a lucas fuel treatment in my gas tank since it started but that is not seeming to help it.

Are you sure it is a carbureted 350 engine? I dont ever recall seeing a 350 in an S10...
