In the underhood fuse box there is a fuse called misc eng it's fuse number 5 or 5a on your car. It's 20 amps also if that helps. It is the power fuse for all of the transmission solenoids.Replace it and see what happens.Check to see if it's blown if it is and it blows again you have a short somewhere.

Reply to Davo's Post: I've checked the fuses on the firewall. There are 2-20amp fuses in the box. Both fuses are good. The other fuses are good also. One of the 20 amp fuses operate the LMC/CBHDLP and the other PCM/VATS. There are a set of relays located below these fuses. Could the misc. fuse be under the dash?

Do this for me.With the key on unplug the connector on the trans and see if you have 12 volts on the pink wire. The fuse is supposed to be in the relay center.I hope you are not checking fuses with your eyes because they can look good and be bad.I just checked again there is a relay center under the dash.

Reply to Davo's Post: I,m checking the fuses with a continuity tester. I removed the plug from the torque converter clutch and checked the wires. I'm not getting any current from the pink or any other colored wire. I'm using a test light. The other relay center, is near the fuse box under the dash?

It should be under the dash on the passenger side on a bracket.

Reply to Davo's Post: Under the dash on the passenger side there is a fuse box with 6 small fuses. There are 3-20 amp fuses in that box. One of those 20 amp fuses is blown. Could that be the problem why I'm not getting current to the connector?

Absolutly.Replace the fuse start the car place the car in drive and then shut it off.See if the fuse is blown again if it is you have a bad short.Make sure the a/c is turned off because alot of compressors are on the same fuse as the trans but I don't have a wiring diagram of the a/c for your car.If it blows disconnect the connector again at the trans and see if it still blows,if it doesn't the short is inside the trans.

Reply to Davo's Post: If the short is in the transmission, possibly wiring to the tcc? Maybe change the harness.

The short could be a trans solenoid or in the wiring. It could also be on another circuit but I don't have access to those diagrams right now.A test light would help you find it.
