Reply to RonRepair's Post: It is one of the adjustable clamps that tightens as you turn the screw with a screwdriver. The clamp is loose but because of where the hoses are located at it seems to me that it will be very difficult to get the new hose on if something is not removed. My question was basically to see if there was something that could or should be removed to make the job easier.

Yes it is a front wheel drive and the problem is clearance.

To gain clearance, you tilt the engine forward. You will need to have the car on a level area.

At the top of the engine, there is a torque mount (sometimes two). It will be between the engine and the radiator core support. Remove the through bolt(s), on the engine end.

Put the car in drive, with the brake off, and roll the car so the engine tilts forward. On some of the mounts, there is a hole to lock the engine in this position. Install the bolt through the bracket and this hole. If it doesn't have a hole, then roll the car and set the brake.

It's not a difficult procedure, although it does require some strength and dexterity. If you're not confident that you can perform the procedure, then you may be better off to let a professional do it.
