I have a 95' Mitsubishi Eclipse RS...I think I am having transmission problems because the shifter does not catch when I try and shift it into reverse. That was went out first. Now, when I am driving, the car will not go into 2nd or 4th...it feels like the gear with not catch...it just revs up. It will pop into second, though, when I am stopped. Why is my car doing this and will it be expensive to fix?
