I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage. has doen 80,000 miles. It is losing about 1 quart every 300 miles. I can see oil on the lower half surface of engie. There is no other problem. Mechanic says that head gasket needs replacement and wants 800 dollars. Is he right? What else it could be?
