I have a 2000 mitsubishi montero sport mI need to change the left brake light. I cant figure out how to get into it. Please help.

Lift rear hatch.
Remove light assembly fastener screws.
Pull light assembly outward.
Unplug suspect bulb.
Turn bulb 1/4 turn to left and remove.
Reverse procedure for replacement.
