ok, here it goes. i have a 89 ford aerostar mini van,that is giving me a hard time as far as trying to tell what the problemis.it seems like everyone tells me its this or that.i cant seem to get the rpms to go above 2,2&1/2 and that is with my foot to the floor.it won't go any fasterthan a very slow 11 mphsome tell me its the fule not getting far enough,i changed the fule filter,some tell me its the transmission ,this all started when i was driving about 43 mph it would sputteruntil i reached45,46 then stopped,idid run out of gas on day,and the problem was getting to whereit would do that the lower the mph.it then started at take off,really slow,untili hit 35,now i can't move it out of the driveway with out being scared im gonna get stuck.do you have any input as to what i am dealing with?i read the book but the troubleshooting area there isin't a sectionfor my piece of junk.
