my 1995 mercury tracer over heated n then i put oil in it ...

my 1995 mercury tracer over heated n then i put oil in it and iwas able to drive for a lil while until it died n started smoking again so we put more oil in it now the car wont start it sounds like it wants to but it wont what should i do?

How many miles are on this vehicle?

Where does it smoke from? Under the hood, or from the tailpipe?

Did the temperature guage go into the Red/Hot zone?

Did you out Engine Oil in, or Engine Coolant ? And how much?

Reply to RIP's Post: 68000 miles the smoke came 4rm hood it did go into the red zone i think i ran out of both but there was coolant in the overfill but the oil was really low now i think there might be too much
