i just purchased a used 1999 mercury sable 4dr wagon LS with 85500 miles on it i need this car to last at least 3yrs. what sort of maintainance regimin should i have for this car or where can i go to get a maintainace calender for dummies if there is such a thing. thank you. signed what do i do now.

IF YOU HAVE A FAX NUMBER I CAN FAX YOU THE FACTORY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE. BASICALLY YOU NEED TO KEEP UP WITH THE COOLING SYSTEM WITH CLEAN COOLANT, KEEP THE TRANS FLUID CLEAN, AND SERVICE THE FUEL FILTER EVERY 25,000 MILES OR SO. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER ITEMS THAT SHOULD BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED AT THE CORECT INTERVALS, ON THE SCHEDULE.
