How do I replace dash board bulbs in a 2000 Mercury Cougar.

Does anyone have detailed instructions how to change a bulb in the dash of a 2000 Mercury Cougar?

Remove the ashtray and cigar lighter bezel.

Remove the audio unit. Special Tool(s) Remover, Radio
415-001 (T87P-19061-A)

Removal

NOTE: Make sure the audio unit key code is available before disconnecting the audio unit electrical connectors and note the audio unit station presets.

Using the special tool, detach the audio unit.
Insert the Radio removal tool into the locating holes until they click into place.
Pull the tools gently to the left and right of the audio unit to release the locking tangs.
Pull the audio unit out of the instrument panel.

Remove the audio unit.
Disconnect the four electrical connectors.
Disconnect the antenna cable.
Remove the switch assembly. headl lamp ect.
Detach the switch assembly.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Detach the heater control panel/audio unit bezel.
Remove the screws
Detach the bezel from the clips.

Remove the heater control/audio unit bezel.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Disconnect the vacuum line.

Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Detach the lamp switch panel.
Remove the screws.
Detach the panel from the clips.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Remove the instrument cluster bezel.
Remove the screws.
Release the clips.
Remove the bezel.

Detach the instrument cluster.

Remove the instrument cluster.
Release the locking tangs.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
