my mercury villager gs won t start i stopped and filled

my 1993 mercury villager gs won't start. I stopped and filled the tank with gas, drove about 25 miles; it sat for about 2 hours and then when i tried to start it, it would make the startup noise but never turn over.

Already Tried:
starting it. had someone look at it and they said there was no gas smell so they think it is the fuel pump
