i have a 97 mercury tracer in my driveway that acts like its not getting fuel
new fuel pump,and fuel filter, if and when you get it to run it goes a little ways then acts like its clogged again..HELP i want my parking spot back !!!

coming out of the ga station up the street last wednesday..it acted like it was dying..and we got it home about 20 mph ..where it died in the driveway..so a week
the kid next door is a student at uti..got it started..drove it around the block..same thing
back in the driveway..wont start

Have you checked to see if the injectors are getting an electrical signal? It would come in pulses.

It was running fine until you filled it right? Injectors are pretty tough and generally don't fail like this. The simplest way is to crank the engine and feel each injector while cranking. You should be able to feel it fire. If your hearing is better than mine you can hear them as well. I would bet you got some cruddy gas at the last fill. If the injectors are firing, I'd dump a bottle or two of dry gas in the tank. I tend to go with the cheap stuff first.

timing gear is stripped
but yoiu need to let them know that you hit that by mistake
