I have a 1974 mercury capri, with a 1989 ford mustang engine

I have a 1974 mercury capri, with a 1989 ford mustang engine and its been sitting for a year and a half without running.

 

Optional Information:

Already Tried:
THIS CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A YEAR AND A HALF, WITHOUT STARTING
I CHANGE THE OIL.
I CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS.
I CHANGE THE AIR FILTER.
I EVEN USED SOME ENGINE START, AND THE CAR WILL START FOR A SECOND THEN DIE.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy), Sounds like you are not getting any fuel. or injector pulse. The fuel filter should be replaced. The fuel in the car should be drained and replaced 1 1/2 years that fuel can't be any good. Check fuel pressure. If the car starts with engine start then the ignition primary and secondary systems are fine. You need to make sure the fuel pump ins running so check all the fuses. let me know we can take it from there.
