2001 Windstar Electrical System? Will run in reverse; stalls in drive. A/C comes on without key in the ignition. Driving to work yesterday morning, engine sputtered, engine light came on, but then engine recovered. Within 45 seconds, engine then died completely. Pulled to side of road and turned off engine. Put shift selector in park and tried to start engine. Engine started, so I shifted into reverse and car moved in reverse. Put in drive and engine died. Called AAA and had vehicle towed to service garage. Later in the day, they tried to start to move car into service bay. Car started, they shifted into drive and were able to drive onto lift in service bay. Could not find problem last night. This morning, continued trouble-shooting. Mechanic had removed key and walked away from car; A/C-heater blower started running. Still no answer this afternoon on problem.
