I have a 98 RR 4.6 HSE with 145,000 on the dash. It was purchased with 130,000 on the dash and at the time the only obvious problem was a small oil leak at the front diff. The fr dr shaft broke. A mechanic removed the shaft and allowed me to drive in 2wd. The broken shaft was repaired and reattatched. All was great until two days later, the front end locked up and had to be replaced by a local mechanic (road trip). I arrived in state to pick the truck about 11pm with a 5hr turn-around drive. First, the battery was dead, a first for me. After paying & leaving the shop, I noticed the speedometer wasn't working continuously. It dropped & bounced in place intermittently. I called the mechanic & he assured me it wasn't due to the replacement part. Earlier he told me the replacement part was an improvement vs the previous. Now my abs, & trac fault lights stay on. The brakes click during & sometimes aren't engaging appropriately, then a sudden near stop.
Lft ac blows hot, rt ok.
