my son drove my 1995 olds achieva 20 miles on an empty radiator. my mechanic charged $700 to fix. after driving 10 miles the car won't heat and misses with a flashing check engine light. oil has antifreeze. now he wants $1,200 to repair cracked or blown head. should he have checked the coolant system prior to the original repair,or is this impossible? thank you!
