no ignition on 1985 mazda 626
Sent to Car Experts November 27 10:15 PM

I just replaced the distributor today. The car was
running before I did the work. (The distributor had been
diagnosed as a stalling problem.) I've not been able to
start the car since changing the distributor. When I turn
the ignition key i do not get any ignition lights or
gauges, but i do have interior and exterior lights. I am
charging the battery.   What do i check now??

make sure you have all the wiring correctly installed to the distributor cap and check all of your fuses.also you can try to get the motor on #1 Top dead center and then check to be sure that the rotor button on the distributor is facing the number one plug wire. you may have set the dist. 180 degrees out.
