Strut Replacement

I have a 88 mazda 626 and I took off the springs and struts to replace...It is not happening. How the heck do I get the things back on with a spring compressor...I seriously need step by step instruction.Thanks anyone.

 Did you all ready take the struts apart you are suposed to use the spring compressor to take them apart you're lucky you're alive.

  Post back and let me know what the statis is are they apart yet?
