Where is the release pin for a 1992 Mazda Protege ignition cylinder? Sorry, I need to withdraw this question. My son has to leave and he was the one working on it so it looks like the car goes to a mechanic tomorrow.
There is no release pin (even though the parts store sold me the part). The ignition assembly is one entire factory pressed unit so I ended up going to a mechanic for a replacement.
