when I turn off my mazda truck.

when I turn off my mazda truck.
The radio and clock reset to facrtory settings.
Is it my alternator?Voltage regulator? The guage shows
it is charging the battery.

Check fuse #20 in the instrument paned box 15A.

It's a separate fuse for the "Keep alive" memory.

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: fuse looks good. There is no sign being blown. It is a 10A fuse in slot 20

You need to test all of the fuses using a test light. That's the only way you will know if they are even receiving power.

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: I think I found the problem. After I checked all the fuses (which were good) I noticed the engine copartment light waxs not on. I checked the positive lead to the battery and noticed if I wiggle it the light works. I took it apart and foudn corrosion on it. I cleaned it and re-assmebled. It seems to work now after testing it several times. I will check it again in the morning to be sure. If it is not working I will notify you again. I am sorry your lead did not work.
