My Mazda B2300 (1997) heat control does not work. Apparently the problem is inside the heater box (plentum?). The heat is currently on full temperature but the summer months are coming soon. Question #1: Can this be fixed without removing the dash panel? #2: Can I cut the hot water hose to the heater and install a cut-off valve to manually control the heat and A/C from under the hood?
I will appreciate any suggestions.
