1996 Mazda LX 2.0 Engine...Comment on engine code PO135 and the location of this particular O2 sensor

P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

That code indicates a problem with the heater circuit with the upstream sensor. Since both sensor feed off the same power supply and it only set a code for one of them, it's pretty safe to assume the sensor is the problem.

You will find it in the exhaust pipe, close to the manifold in front of the engine.
