Have 96 Mazda 626 4cyl automatic. Am trying to set timing w directions from Haynes manual 93-98. It says to insert jumper wire btw the GND & TEN terminals of data link connector, yet the illustration does not match terminal layout in my auto. Also manual says #1 cyl in far left on passenger side, yet I cannot see the mark on the pulley unless I put timing light on #4 cylinder wire!? Also, loosen bolt on distributor and rotate to all extremes and timing mark not move, even when I try to guess and jumper the terminals in the data link connector. Any help for my year and auto? Thanks,   Jim
