I Have a 94 Mazda B4000 pick up. I have had a problem with the manual transmission.I Had my clutch and slave cylinder replaced by AAMCO. About 3 weeks later my slave cylinder went bad on me again and they replaced it after like a week of complaints under warranty. Worked good after that and then recently I started hearing screaching when I pressed on the clutch pedal. Today it was really bad. Before I shut off the car tonight I heard a loud clicking noise while I was shifting and the pedal got a little hard.I checked the clutch fluid and decided to check the Transmission fluid. I pulled the upper fill plug and fluid was pissing. I thaught maybee they over filled it but then thaught that maybee it was because the transmission was warm and the fluid expanded. Anyways I put the filler plug back in before everything came out. Then I got in stepped on the clutch and started the truck. I heard a loud screach and then it sounded smooth. I put it in reverse to back up and let off the clutch and the truck didn't move. then I went to press on the pedal and it wouldn't go down. I pressed a little harder and snap I broke the plastic pushrod from the pedal. I wonder if from me letting out that transmission fluid from the fill cap had anything to do with what happend to the clutch? Also if I might need a new transmission also or do you think it's just the clutch?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

You letting a little fluid out had nothing to do with this.Sounds like your throw out bearing went-or your clutch. If you have an external slave cyl-you will need to replace your clutch-If you have an internal slave cyl-Why did they not already replace the clutch?? Anyway you look at this-most likely you now have a bad clutch and it will need to be replaced.

Originally they repalced my clutch and my slave cylinder. But the second time under Warranty they just replaced my slave cylinder. I was wondering Shoul I replace my clutch master cylinder or the whole clutch kit?
