Freeze plug replacement

When I replace the freeze plug in my Mazda B2200 Aluminum cylinder head, do I need any sealant?

It is always a good idea to use sealant on expansion plugs especially when going into aluminum.

It acts as a sealant and helps as a lubricant while uncured

Permatex#2 non hardening
