How do you replace the rear tail light of a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8?

How do you replace the rear tail light of a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8 automobile? What do you take off to get to the burned out bulb?

removing the tail light assembly, unable to open the tail light

Are you trying to remove the tail light from the trunk lid or from the lamps to the left or right of the trunk lid?
