I have a 1996 Lincoln Cont. that last night gushed coolant on the driveway--a/c cools & then blows hot air intermittently. This morning within 5 minutes of putting 2/3 gal of water in coolant chamber & running a/c while car is parked, temp gauge went to hot. Water dripped just a little under the car which tells me it was possibly spilling over from being too hot. My question is, does my 96 Linc. Cont. have 1 fan or 2--my mechanic says if it has 1 then to check to see if the radiator fan fuse is out or possibly the relay. How does this sound ?
